My son Eric is serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mongolia. He is currently stationed in a small town, Moron, about 200 kilometers south of the Russian border. We received our first CD full of pictures this week. Doesn’t he look great on a camel?

The juxaposition of traditional and modern is amazing. Camels are regularly used to transport logs to be used as firewood to heat Mongolian homes; we receive digital pictures and communicate with Eric via email!
